Jason Marks
Attorney
Jason Marks is an attorney at Waters & Kraus, LLP in the firm's Los Angeles office. He has a special interest in personal injury, product liability, and toxic tort litigation. A native of Florida, Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in Flushing, New York. Prior to law school, Jason spent over three years investigating capital cases at trial and through the post-conviction process as a lead investigator with the Southern Center for Human Rights on behalf of those sentenced to death in Alabama and Georgia in addition to helping reform prisons and jails in the South. Throughout law school, Jason participated in several volunteer internships at public interest organizations including a clinical program where he represented an indigent client with a misdemeanor in Queens, New York criminal court, achieving dismissal of the charge. Jason was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California in 2008.
