Laurel Halbany
Attorney
Laurel Halbany is an attorney at Waters & Kraus, LLP in the firm's San Francisco Office. Laurel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan. In 2003, Laurel was admitted to practice law in the State of California. She has a special interest in civil law, personal injury litigation, premises liability, product liability, and toxic tort litigation. Laurel also focuses her practice on birth injury caused by chemical exposure in the semiconductor industry. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys of California, Public Justice, and the State Bar of California. Laurel also provides pro bono services as a participant with the Bar Association of San Francisco, Volunteer Legal Services Program in Eviction Defense. Three times, she has achieved the Outstanding Volunteer award.
